North Malé Atoll is the Maldives’ most iconic surf zone: a tight cluster of consistent reef breaks, short boat rides, and efficient day-to-day logistics that keep you in the water and on rhythm. It’s the perfect setup whether you’re building confidence on quality waves or sharpening performance with a focused plan, no long transits, just maximum surf time.
Na Maré is a Brazilian women’s surf travel community founded by Karol and Thais. More than organizing surf trips, our mission is to create meaningful experiences where women can connect, improve their surfing, explore incredible destinations, and build lasting friendships.
Our trips welcome surfers of different levels in a supportive, fun, and safe environment. We believe surfing is about much more than catching waves—it’s about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, taking care of body and mind, and sharing unforgettable moments with an amazing community of women.
Our Maldives surf trip is designed for women seeking an unforgettable surf adventure in one of the world’s most iconic destinations. We’ll spend 8 days and 7 nights aboard a comfortable surf charter, exploring world-class waves, crystal-clear waters, and the breathtaking beauty of the Maldivian islands.
Alongside daily surf sessions, we’ll enjoy yoga classes on board to help guests stretch, recover, and connect with the present moment. The experience blends surfing, wellness, relaxation, delicious food, and genuine connections, creating the perfect balance between adventure and self-care.
More than a surf trip, this is an opportunity to disconnect from everyday life, immerse yourself in nature, and share an incredible journey with like-minded women.
Karol Ribeiro is a professional surfer from Brazil who started surfing at the age of seven and competing at eight. She became a professional athlete at 18 and has since achieved major results, including Brazilian Champion, three-time Rio de Janeiro State Champion, and Latin American Vice-Champion.
Karol was also the first woman to represent Brazil when surfing made its debut as an Olympic sport.
Passionate about sharing the sport, she founded Namaré, a project dedicated to empowering women through surfing, building community, and encouraging more women to enter the ocean. Today, Namaré connects surfers both in Brazil and internationally.
Teaching surfing is one of Karol’s greatest passions, making this Maldives trip especially meaningful, a chance to share unforgettable waves, create connections, and continue expanding the Namaré community around the world.
Thais is a passionate surfer, and a certified yoga teacher. She believes that surfing and yoga complement each other, helping people develop strength, balance, mindfulness, and confidence both in and out of the water.
During the Maldives trip, Thais will lead onboard yoga sessions designed to support recovery, improve mobility, and create moments of relaxation and connection. Her goal is to help every guest enjoy a balanced experience that combines adventure, well-being, and community.
