In 2026, Blue Ocean Maldives and Barton Lynch come together for a truly special Central Atolls surf trip, an intimate, once-in-a-year adventure for surfers who want to experience the real Maldives and share the journey with a world champion. Barton, the 1988 ASP World Champion and a product of Manly’s legendary breaks, brings the passion, strategy, and ocean-reading mastery that made him one of surfing’s most respected figures.
Throughout the trip, everything flows as one: chasing the best conditions, scoring quality sessions, and living the full rhythm of life at sea, surf, stories, and unforgettable moments onboard. You’ll learn directly from Barton in and out of the water, gaining insights shaped not only by his competitive career but also by his role as one of the sport’s most trusted voices, including Olympic commentary.
This experience is open to anyone with an adventurous spirit and a progression mindset, with very limited spots to keep it personal, connected, and real. If you want an epic Maldives escape where the waves are only part of the story, this is your trip.
