Pausa in Maldives is born from a deep need: to pause.
To pause so you can listen to yourself. To breathe. To remember who you are, beyond the noise, expectations, and constant rush. Because sometimes, all we need is a pause to return to what truly matters.
The concept of pause lies at the very heart of this project.
A pause is not about escaping; it is about returning. It is about creating a space where you can look inward with honesty, reconnect with yourself, and live from a place that is more authentic, simple, and full of joy.
It is a way of life. A way of living more aligned with your truth.
It is the conscious choice to listen to yourself, care for yourself, express yourself, make space for what feels right, and let go of what no longer serves you.
It is embracing a new understanding of yourself, of life, of success, of calm, and of purpose.
What will you find at Pausa?
The Pauses.
Transformational experiences in the form of retreats and in-person gatherings, where you gift yourself time. These are spaces to return to your essence, surround yourself with beauty and truth, and plant the seed of curiosity and self-love.
Individual and group support.
I support you through your process of self-discovery and conscious action, helping you move out of confusion, reconnect with your personal power, and make decisions from a grounded, centred place.
Yoga.
A practice that goes far beyond the physical body. It is presence. It is listening. It is connection with who you truly are seeing both your shadows and your light through a new lens, and learning to hold yourself from that place. Yoga helps us step out of autopilot and return to contact with what is real.
A Pausa is so much more than simply stopping.
It is an adventure of outer exploration (idyllic places) and inner exploration (your heart).
It is a space to listen to yourself, get to know yourself, and reconnect with what truly matters—through enjoyment, pleasure, and genuinely having a good time.
It is a moment to feel inspired by the strength of others, by their stories, and by their personal journeys.
In a Pausa, you meet yourself.
Pausa is inspiration, truth, and action.
How is it experienced?
The experience is a perfect blend of:
Yoga sessions to connect with the body.
Exploration gatherings where we share, engage in group dynamics, write, talk, get inspired, move, and have fun.
Guided meditations to connect with our inner world.
Exploring the place where we are staying.
Healthy, always delicious food.
A variety of workshops, depending on the specific Pausa we are experiencing.
My name is Paula, and today I support people through a multidisciplinary approach, working with accompaniment processes, yoga, retreats, and workshops focused on self-awareness, action, and transformation.
Over time, and through my own personal transformation, I began a path more aligned with my true essence. I trained as a Professional Coach (certified by ASESCO) and specialised in Gestalt Therapy. I also trained as a yoga teacher in India, completing a 200-hour course in Rishikesh and a 300-hour course in Goa.
I am currently studying Psychology and remain deeply passionate about learning, growing, and evolving.
Before this period of change, I completed a degree in Marketing and a degree in Law, followed by a Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession, and later specialised in Maritime Law. During that stage, I worked in areas such as Human Resources, marketing, and the legal field.
